Free Blog Breakthrough Session

Free Blog Breakthrough Session

Special Offer for the Month of June!

May 30th marked the one year anniversary of the Culture Link Women’s Network. It’s been a wonderful year of new connections, learning and growth. In honor of that, I would like to offer a special gift… During the month of June, I’m offering a zero cost “Blog Breakthrough” planning and goal setting session on a first come, first served basis.

During this free 30 minute one-on-one session, you will:

  •  Create a crystal clear vision of the kind of communicator and blogger you want to be.
  •  Uncover hidden obstacles that may be challenging your content creation success
  •  Leave the session energized to finally start fully expressing your expertise!

I know you are going to be blown away by how much progress can be made in a short space of time. If you want to work with me after – great! If not, that’s fine too! If nothing else, you’ll have been able to soak up a great amount of advice and will have a rock solid direction for what to do next because we’ll focus on the issue that’s most important to your communication success.

My goal is for you to get so much value from our time together that you’ll think of me in the future or send your friends to me and of course I LOVE the process of working with you, no matter what.

If I feel you need more, I’ll ask you if you’d like to hear about my services and I guarantee that if I’m not the right person, I’ll point you towards some other resources (of which I have many). If you do decide to work with me, I want you to be 100% sure that I’m the right person.

If you’d like to get your business blog set on track and if you’d like to get personalized expert copy creation advice then you’re in luck!

How to get started:

1. Email me to book your free session

2. Review and answer the questions

These questions are designed to bring to the surface a description of your vision and to help me begin to understand how I can best support you and your blogging goals. To make sure you get the most benefit possible, please give yourself enough time to reflect on these questions and send your answers via email at least a day in advance. My aim here is:

  • To provide you with a sense of the style and scope of how I coach
  • To ensure we hit the ground running in our time together

You may want to download these questions as a word file:

1) What’s your WHY?

Think about WHY you want to either start a blog or improve your existing one:

You may not have an exact answer and that’s perfectly fine! These questions may help you get started thinking about it:

What message do you want to get out?

Who are you writing for?

Ideally, how will your blog change your readers, your business… and you?

What will happen if you do this well and how will that feel?

What will happen if you don’t and how will that feel?

Consider the questions above. Write down “What’s my WHY?” across the top of a piece of paper.

Take at least 5-10 minutes and free-write on the subject. By free-write I mean write as fast as you can continuously without editing or evaluating or stopping. If you get stuck write something like, “I am stuck. I don’t know what to write. I like this pen though…” and keep going until your thoughts get back on track. When you are finished it’s often good to read it out to yourself as sometimes the ear can pick up a neat idea that you didn’t notice while you were in the flow of writing. If you really want to go deep, you may want to consider free-writing for 5 minutes on each question in turn. Even if your ideas in your mind are really clear, it’s helpful to have them written down so that as you progress you can be aware if and when they change.

After the free-write, see if you can distill all these ideas into one sentence.  Here’s my example, for my blog:

I want to help women evolve how they connect and communicate with the world.

Again, if you don’t have a clear idea, that’s fine. You may want to circle some key words from your free-write instead. Finding complete clarity in this area may take a while, but it is well worth it to ensure you are working from the inside out.

If you are interested, Simon Sinek in his Ted Talk explains this powerful mode of thinking and describes how most of the great feats of mankind have been done by people who firmly understood their WHY before they began:

2) What are you expecting from coaching? Why do you want to be coached?

3) What do you love about your writing?

4) Which areas of your blogging do you most need help with?

For example: creating a writing/ posting schedule, developing a stronger voice, generating topics, overcoming creative blocks / mindset limitations, blog writing techniques, editing techniques, traffic generation, online visibility etc.

5) Your blog:

What is the URL? Are you satisfied with this domain name?

( If you don’t yet own a blog, can you name some of the blogs that you find inspiring and interesting?)

6) What else do I need to know before we have our introductory session?
